Needle Felted Pictures
Examples are shown in Needle-Felted Art. Prices for an 8"x10" picture will usually be around $75. You may commission Rita to needle felt a specific picture for you. Prices vary according to size and difficulty. Please check with Rita at Mar-Rita Farm, e-mail or phone number.
Needle Felted Lapel Pins
($15 to $20 each)
Examples of dogs and cats are shown in Needle-Felted Art. Needle felted dogs can be accomplished for most breeds, including Labs, Shepherds, Collies, Alaskan Malamute, Dachshund, Beagle, Terriers, Huskies to mention a few. Needle felted cats can be accomplished for most breeds and other Needle felted animals are available as well. You may commission Rita to needle felt a lapel pin of your favorite pet at a price of $25.
Needle Felting Supplies
Roving, batting, commercially made needle felted felt pieces, felting needles and foam forms for hats, mittens, boots, etc.
Corriedale Fleeces
Our Corriedale sheep produce a fine, long stapled, soft, luxurious wool. Fleece colors vary from white to several shades of gray as well as brown and black. Our fleeces are covered and vary in price from $6 to $10 lb. Fresh fleeces are available after shearing each March.
Corriedale Roving and Batting
Our roving and batting (for spinners and felt makers) are available in natural colors, and some are available in dyed or multi-dyed colors. Check with us for availability, samples, and prices, which may vary throughout the year.
Yarn Store (The Wool Room)
We stock a wide assortment of Brown Sheep Company yarns including, Lamb’s Pride (worsted and bulky), Naturespun (worsted), Wildfoote Luxury Sock Yarn. We also stock Fiber Trends Patterns as well as their gorgeous colored yarns from New Zealand called Montage, hand painted by JJ’s Crafts. This hand painted yarn is beautiful just as it is, plus it also felts like a dream. New from Fiber Trends is the Gelato, Naturelle, Natural, and Colorworks yarns as well as their Mohair Plus yarns. New is DK weight, self-patterning sock yarn by Meilenwert.
Knitting Supplies and Notions
Assorted bamboo needles and notions by Clover and Skacel (including Skacel Turbo). New are notions from Unicorn, including knitting counters, tool kits, stitch holders and yarn needles.

Rita’s hand made garments are adorable, one-of-a-kind items. We have an assortment of hand-made felted hats, purses, and mittens as well as knitted mittens, socks and scarves. Check to find what other hand-knit items we have in stock as this varies during the year.
Sheepskins
Colors include Ivory, Champagne, Eclipse(brown tinted tips), Twilight (black tinted tips), Chocolate and Black.
Sheepskin Slippers
Price reduced 20% on these items which include soft soles as well as hard soles. Check for prices and sizes.
Knitting, Felting and Dyeing Lessons
Do you love to learn new things? Then come over to our farm! We offer instruction in knitting, needle-felting, wet-felting and dyeing. Lessons are available by appointment, at Mar-Rita Farm. Our Wool-Dyeing and Fiber Fun Day is held in mid-July. Call for the exact date and to make reservations.
